So it begins. The preparation for Little C’s 1st Birthday!
Making a Confetti wall has been on my DIY shortlist. I had originally intended it for her room, though I am pleased with the timing as it will be a simple transfer.
My inspiration came from (… drum roll) Pinterest! which led me to Wee Birdy’s Blog Who has the tutorial which comes complete with a printable circle pattern… I so happened to have a circle cutter made by Fiskars.. and honestly don’t think I would have done this without it. …… no I probably would have .. but am so glad it was so quick.
I just opened the photo in the crap paper aisle at our local craft store and went to town..
At our last trip to IKEA I picked up a cake stand. I feel so mature and domestically achieved to own a cake stand.. it is a very strange and satisfying feeling! They also had these sweet napkins and some coordinating straws.. <3 IKEA.
I am so pleased.. my order for Shop Sweet Lulu hasn’t even arrived yet!
I know I love it so much more than she does..but I still like to imagine how her little toddling self sees it.
I’m so excited to celebrate our cheeky little munchkin!
